We tend to tell people that our Beacon Office serves Beacon, Fishkill, and Cold Spring. I guess that is what people expect to hear and I am guilty for leaving out other important communities. In my defense I plead brevity.
I know I should add the wonderful hamlet of Glenham 12527, also Castle Point 12511, of course Wappingers and Wappingers Falls 12590 and let me not forget all of Phillipstown too.
Is the river such a big psychological boundary? I often ask myself this. I must admit that before I had to travel to a previous job via I-84 to I-87 and now travel to New Windsor from Beacon every day I also hardly ever crossed the bridge. I would not think twice about driving to Poughkeepsie to the stores/services/or whatever but crossing the Beacon Newburgh Bridge just didn't occur to me. Now I realize that I was just plain being silly, Newburgh is a lot closer than Poughkeepsie.
I guess my point is: We have patients and families who travel to our Beacon Office from parts of the Newburgh area because it is actually closer and easier to get to than going to our New Windsor office. Likewise it may be easier to get to our Beacon office from points around Beacon than trying to get to Poughkeepsie or even Fishkill to see a pediatrician. How close is your pediatrician really?
Our New Windsor office is right on Rt. 9W it is very easy to get to. 9 W even in the bad weather is usually plowed very early, very well, and very often.
Our New Windsor Pediatric Office is easy to reach from Cornwall 12518 and Cornwall on Hudson 12520, even from Highland Falls 10928. Our New Windsor Pediatric Office is easy to get to from Vails Gate 12584 and Campbell Hall 10916. Of course we always advertise that we serve the New Windsor 12553 and the Newburgh 12550 areas, but we actually serve so much more as you can see.
I almost forgot to list Balmville and of course Wallkill 12589 nor should I forget Montgomery 12549!
If I was more talented I could have made this blog into a song or a poem. Alas I just made it a bit more than a list. I am sure I left out some of the towns and villages where people come from to see us and I know that we do have families who do come from rather far away, please let us know! Leave a comment and a smiley face!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
