Actually Spaghetti & Meatball (who are very hard to get to pose nicely together) have been to the Vet for their annual check ups. They have had their immunizations, (vaccines/shots) and everything else the Vet needed to do for their yearly physicals. Spaghetti is 132 lbs. and Meatball checks in at 212 lbs.
This is to remind everyone that we all should get our yearly physicals. Children need them for school and the rest of us, even our pets need them to get a good picture of our health.
We at Orange Pediatric Care have been advertising and pleading with people to get them done early so you can get an appointment that is convenient, yet a lot of families have waited as usual to the last minute. Wouldn't it have been better to get them out of the way at the beginning of summer if possible? Please be patient with us as the doctor can only see so many people in a day and still give the time and caring to everyone that they deserve. Remember that "Quality, Compassionate, Personalized care" takes time.
Dr. Maria Bernardez and Evelyn Santiago maintain hours in both our Beacon and our New Windsor pediatric offices. They try to accommodate families on each side of the Hudson River and offer appointments to Orange and Dutchess County children and young adults.
So if your children still need to get their school physicals, sports physicals, or any other pediatric care please call and make an appointment and we will do our best to make it convenient for you and your family. Please however realize that the more flexible you are the easier it will be. Also that next year planning ahead and trying to get them done early if possible will make it a less stressful and easier experience. (many insurances can be done early as long as it is a different calender year).
