But in the meantime look at the positives:
A). No insects or mosquitoes bothering you.
B). You don't get all sweaty.
C). It is dramatic
D). ..and pretty. Especially looking down from 301 Main Street in Beacon and seeing the view down Main Street of Mt. Beacon.
or looking at the River and viewing the other side from Newburgh or New Windsor, (or Cornwall, Highland or anywhere for that matter.
E). Shoveling is kinda' like nature forcing you to get outside, get some fresh air and getting some exercise.
F). You get to wear warm woolly sweaters, mittens, cool scarves etc.
G). It gives you a chance to sit by a fireplace, (Dr. B LOVES fireplaces!) and drink Hot Cocoa.
OK, What do YOU like about Winter? Please respond in the comments section....PLEASE.
Please note on a previous blog post we have listed local and national EMERGENCY NUMBERS if you need to call them.
If the snow is very bad please stay safe!
If I understand the news correctly the storm is going to be worse more to the Southern portion of the Hudson Valley than the North. So Phillipstown and Cold Spring, Highland Falls and Cornwall on Hudson are supposed to get more snow than say, Highland, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers, Marlborough, and Walkill. Of course your results may vary! It may also depend upon the local geography and whether you are in the mountains or close to the Hudson River.
Again, May all of our friends and patients be safe and healthy!
THANK YOU! - Dr. Bernardez and the Staff at Orange Pediatric Care, P.C.
